About Us
My passion for cooking started at a very young age in the kitchen with my mom. She taught me how to make just about anything from scratch. We used fresh ingredients whenever possible. She told me fond stories about her childhood growing up on the farm, cooking, baking and canning. I learned so much more then a college degree would provide. This is why I provide homemade not premade foods on my trailer and when we cater.
As a little girl I always thought cooking was fun, I either wanted to be a paleontologist or a chef. As it turns out I went to college for accounting. My fear of failure won and I chose what I thought was the easier route. After years of working for employers, fighting for my position, facing disappointment and discrimination I Decided I needed change. Life’s too short. The year we will never forget…2020 happened. The 1 thing it did for me was give me a little push, a push to chase my suppressed childhood dream. To cook- but what did that mean? Buy a restaurant? 2021 didn’t seem to be the best time for that. My husband (I call him macgyver) said you’ve always wanted a food truck, I said ya but those are expensive and that’s scary. So many unknowns and opportunity for failure. With his support and ability to fix, build, and macgyver anything we purchased an old 1977 bread truck that back in its day was called Mr. Twister.
It clearly needed a LOT of tlc- my husband and his brother put in a lot of hard work to make it a functional food truck. Fast forward 6 months, we had become so busy we needed something newer, more room for inventory and something I could get to and from events by myself. After the green trailer was purchased we were overwhelmed by the amount of people
looking to book with us for events. That’s when the teal trailer was bought. Now you see us at large events, even out of state festivals, concerts and more! I’m happy that I took the leap with the support of my family, my macgyver and his brother Cody.
